“Kogomenoyu” Yugawara Onsen

Good for gynecological diseases and trying to conceive?

Kogomeno-yu was built as a public onsen for the local town, where local people would gather to have fun and socialize through bathing together. The Japanese name “Kogomeno-yu” has a pleasant sound for couples expecting a baby. Yu-pon recognizes Yugawara Onsen (Oku-Yugawara) as one of the two best quality onsen in the suburbs of Tokyo. The other is Ashinoyu Onsen in Hakone.

This Onsen was known by 7th Century on ”Collection of Ten Thousand Leaves”, the most oldest anthology of waka poems.

Kogome in Japanese literally means “loading a baby with bathing.” According to my close friend, he feels quite invigorated the morning after taking a bath at Kogomenoyu. Very effective!
You should know that only Oku-Yugawara Onsen’s well has good quality water.
