If you have more interest in sakura blossom, you should go and check the most famous great 3 sakura in Japan and 3 big names of hanami in Japan. In the erea of 3 sakuras and 3 hanamis, you have to see classic sakura; Edo-higan, Shidare-sakura instead of popular Somei-yoshino.
In Yu-pon’s opinion Somei-yoshino was developed to meet the grade for town size tree in Edo period. Speaking of Somei-yoshino the color of the petal is nice, the flower’s smell is good and the location is convenience for hanami.
